warehouse & production worker
The warehouse worker role is dynamic, fast-paced, and in a great environment near the beach with the fastest growing branding company in the US. We are interested in hard working, team players, with an ability to problem solve when issues arise. No two days are the same.
Typical responsibilities will include:
Quality Control: Counting quantities on inbound shipments, reviewing colors, sizes, and print details against the specification sheet.
Light Production: We operate heat transfer machines, sewing machines, direct to garment printers, cutters, and other light production equipment at this facility
Packaging and Kitting: Light packaging and client kitting is a daily routine, building, taping, and labeling boxes. Carefully packaging materials according to client expectations
Receiving and shipping: Inbound boxes should be sorted and carefully checked in against work order notes. Missing, damaged, or broken boxes/pallets should be reported immediately to the Operations Coordinator
Computer data entry: Use of computer systems is a standard operation, and requires searching for Work Orders and Cases, and then entering data relevant to the Work Order after various operational tasks
Lifting and safety: Situational awareness and ability to lift safely are a must. It is a full time job to ensure areas are clean, no slippery surfaces, trip hazards, or other safety issues arise out of carelessness
Measuring and math: Basic mathematics and the ability to measure and communicate decimals and fractions is critical to working with all cross-departmental teams in order to explain various production sizing details
Willingness to learn: We are extremely fast paced, and changes in processes and procedures is commonplace. The business has never looked the same from one 6 month period to the other, and changes in systems, storage space, and warehouse layouts require an ability to stay aware of changes, and adjust to them quickly.
We are looking for an 8am - 5pm full time worker. Benefits will be available after three months of full time employment with no write ups, safety, or behavior issues. Hourly pay ranges are $14-16, dependent on experience. We have a Phun atmosphere, with no egos on our Team. Everyone works together regardless of their tenure with the company, and it is stressed that all employees treat colleagues with respect.
